A broker connection is read-only and brings your fills in on its own; CSV import is included on every tier and is not counted. On a desk, the person who buys the licence can see which seats are in use and reassign one, but never sees another trader’s trades, notes, or figures.

Questions
Does TrX Journal tell me what to trade?
No. TrX Journal is a record-keeping and analytics tool. It reports on trades you have already closed and never makes recommendations or predictions.
Which brokers are supported?
All of them. Instead of a fixed broker list, TrX Journal has a column mapper — you tell it which column holds the date, symbol, price, and quantity, and it handles the rest. For 54 brokers there is also a read-only connection: either TrX Journal reads your fills directly with an API key, or your side pushes them to the Feed API. The Integrations page lists every broker and its route in.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
Your CSV is parsed in your browser. Your journal is saved to your account so you can reach it from any device, and you can export or delete it at any time.
Is this a subscription?
No. It is a single payment that includes 3 years of access and every update released during that time. Nothing recurring, and nothing to cancel.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in from anywhere with your username and password.
What is the difference between the tiers?
How many brokers a journal can have connected at once. Every tier is the complete journal: unlimited trading accounts, consolidated reporting, rule-adherence tracking, trade screenshots, setup and tag analytics, a custom report builder, PDF reports, saved filter views, journal snapshots, period-over-period comparison, custom fields, CSV and XLSX export, and priority support. Tapestry connects 1 broker; Studio connects 3 and Atelier connects 10. Studio also carries 3 seats and Atelier also carries 10 seats, each a private journal. Bought a lower tier and want more? Buy the next one with the same email address and your account moves up.
How does a desk licence work?
You buy the licence and take the first seat. Settings then gives you an invite link for each remaining seat, which you send to your traders; each one sets their own password. You can rename a seat or free it up to hand to somebody else at any time.
Can the person who buys a desk licence see my trades?
No. They can see that your seat is active and when you last signed in, and they can free the seat. They cannot see your trades, your notes, or any figure TrX Journal calculates from them. Each seat is a separate private journal.
Is a desk licence cheaper per person?
Yes. Studio works out at $166.33 a seat, Atelier works out at $150 a seat. The larger the desk, the lower the price per seat.
Which currency am I charged in?
Prices are listed in US dollars. At checkout you pay in your local currency. If you are in the UK you are charged in pounds, in the euro area in euros, and so on. The figure shown inside the checkout is the one you pay.
What if it is not for me?
14-day refund, no questions asked. Email support and we will process it.
Do I need a live market data feed?
No. TrX Journal uses the fill prices in your own trade history. There is no market data and no live quotes.
How long do I have access?
3 years from the date of purchase, including every update released in that time. You can export your full journal as CSV or JSON at any point, including after your access period ends.
